I can't say enough good things about Yates. I had several people look at my heating unit but couldn't ever diagnose the problem. It took Tyler only a few minutes to figure it out and repair it. He was so nice and took time to explain everything. They even texted me a picture of him ahead of time so I knew when he came to my door who he was. Their attention to detail is great and prices are very affordable. If you need a heat and air repair service don't hesitate to call them.
Yates Maintenance installed our Heat and air unit. After returning from a vacation our unit would not come on. They were here very quickly and fixed the problem. They made sure that was the only problem by checking several things! We appreciate Gabe and his helper for the quick service.
Yates came highly recommended to me by a friend. We've now called on them twice and will likely never call another. Their staff is incredibly warm and friendly, and have made every effort to see us ASAP when in need. They were very fast and efficient at diagnosing the issues, offered more than one solution when available to keep costs low for us, and an optional piece of work to protect our system from repeat issues. (Gonna follow up with that soon!) It was refreshing to have personable techs explain in detail what the issues were, rather than give a blanket statement and expect immediate trust and money hand-over-fist. Both times they've even had the parts on them, so there's been no wait time or reschedule to fix. I do not usually leave reviews but my experience with Yates Maintenance has been so positive and painless that I feel compelled to in this case. From the initial contact through the installation of my smart thermostat this company has been a pure pleasure to work with. I want to especially give a shout out to Hunter who did the installation. I live 1000 miles away from a renal house I own, my tenant called that the AC was blowing warm. I reached out to a plumber friend I trust to recommend an HVAC company; he recommended Yates. My fear of being so far away from my property is, they could have told me anything and rip me off. To my delight it was a simple and inexpensive fix, the AC was up and running within minutes. Yates answered / returned every call. There is a real reason they have 4.9 star rating, Yates is on my trust list, thank you Yates.
They're a great company. In their line of work it's very easy to deceive people as I've heard many horror stories about other local companies, but these guys have integrity. The young man who came seemed inexperienced and offered no professional information about my AC. He mentioned that my freon was low. That's it. Then I said do you think it should be topped off? And he said, "that's up to you". What kind of answer is that??? He's suppose to be the "professional". He should have given me a more definitive answer. It was like pulling teeth to get any information out of him. And he never looked me in the eye. He had no personality or people communication skills at all. I'm not discouraged with Yates, just wasn't impressed with this technician. Also, Yates needs to mention/remind customer when booking appointment that THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PURCHASING A NEW AIR FILTER to be installed. Yates does not furnish filter.

I called Yates after our downstairs unit stopped blowing cold air inside the house but was blowing cold outside. I had an appointment scheduled very quick and Colby showed up when he was supposed to. Colby was very professional and spent a long time trying to locate a leak rather than just trying to sell me a new unit. Codie joined Colby in evaluating my system and they were able to locate the leak causing my issue and were able to fix it saving me from having to buy a new downstairs hvac system. Great people, company owner was on site with the installment crew for a new Heil AC and furnace. When an additional part was needed, someone, possibly the owner, went immediately to obtain. I did have some difficulty at the Canadian call center due to reaching the requested department but nothing that affected the overall service from this local USA company. Interior flooring was well protected from foot traffic. All were courteous, respectful, knowledgeable and professional. For best, long lasting performance, we purchased a maintenance plan and look forward to our next visit from the competent, well-trained staff. Thank you All!

Yates was on time and spent the time to figure out what was wrong with my system. They were able to fix it same day. They also talked with me about my air quality concerns and quoted me two different options to help address them. They were very organized and the technology they have to support their operations makes it super easy for customers.
Pricing, scheduling, customer service were all outstanding! Matt, Justin, and Rafael were especially terrific. I had A/C unit moved from one side of the house to the other. As a result, at the new location a metal cover that went over some of the piping and wiring on the outside of the house needed to be installed. I was told the cover "could be painted any color I wanted to match the house," which I assumed meant that Yates would paint it. Only days later after it was already installed to the wall did I learn I am responsible for painting it. Had I known that I would have painted it myself before they affixed it to the wall since it would be less messy and I wouldn't have to get on a very tall ladder and awkwardly try to paint. Other than that, the entire job, including the coil replacement in the attic was fantastic. All that being said, I wouldn't hesitate to use Yates again should I need any HVAC services in the future.

Great job, and fast work. Installed a Mini Split Heil AC and Heat Pump System. The AC is working great, doesn't take up much room. They did a great clean up job when they were done, and all around they did a great job. Since it is almost 100 degrees, so it may be some time before I report on the heat pump.

My experience was outstanding. My air conditioner went out due to a storm and my house was 90 plus degrees. The young lady that took my call was very professional, prompt and sympathetic for my situation and she was able to get a technician out to my house that same day. Before the service technician came out he sent me a picture letting me know he was on his way which I really appreciated. The young man 'Dusten' was able to diagnose, explain and replace a thermostat very quickly. Now my air conditioner works like it's brand new thanks to Dusten. Thank you all very much

Yates really came through today seeing as I had a leaking roof on a Friday afternoon right before the holiday weekend. Yates Maintenance is an excellent HVAC service. Their responsiveness is great! I scheduled an appointment for a AC service and got an appointment the next day. Cody explained in detail about the status of my old unit (fading condition), the cost to replace it, and everything. Very reasonable! He was able to get me scheduled for installation the next day! Their awesome team took care of the old unit and installed the new one with great care. They made sure everything is working. I definitely would recommend them for their service.
There were some problems with scheduling the appointment, however, once those were worked out the employee who came to my house was very professional and had very practical advice about how to get the best use out of unit and ensure it was cooling every part of my home more evenly. I would recommend them!

My A/C had a leak that could not be repaired. Yates gave me a reasonable deal on a new unit and installed it promptly and professionally. I was able to take advantage of a rebate and get an extended warranty.
Air handler fan would not start, like a cap bad, but it worked fine when the tech arrived. All checks seem fine, so no repair was done.

Turned on my central heating this morning and heard the most horrible noise from my package unit. I called Yates immediately and was told they could have someone here around 5 PM. Oh well, and then Hunter call & showed up at 2:15 PM. Diagnosed the problem almost immediately. It was a inducer fan & pretty expensive. He went and picked it up and had it replaced and running by around 4:15. Great guy, friendly, over and above service. Also checked my Co2 & Freon level. It was expensive but only because the fan was so damn expensive. Thanks guys you're doing a great job. We out.

Just had HVAC service from Yates this morning(same day I called). Heat pump was not working and I expected bad news(unit was 10 years old). Instead Cody and his assistant(apologize for not remembering name) quickly diagnosed issue and fixed it as well as inspecting upstairs HVAC unit and replacing worn part. Literally saved me potentially thousands of dollars. These guys are honest and professional. Highly recommend Yates!
Yates Maintenance were kind and caring enough to take on a job a bit out of their normal realm for me. Recently widowed and in need of a light fixture replacement as well as few other 'odd' jobs, Yates Maintenance did not hesitate to accommodate me. The associate, a very nice young man named Dusten, arrived on time and finished the work both quickly and efficiently. Clearly this is a company that cares about people, which extends to their clients. I will absolutely call on Yates Maintenance for any future heating and air conditioning work.

To say that I am a happy camper is an understatement. I contacted this company on Thursday and Cody came out the next day. He came earlier that scheduled (I had no problem with that either), he was very polite and professional and explained everything to me. I was scheduled to have the unit installed on the following Monday (other companies told me they could not install until the end of the month or next month). Cody called me back the same day and said he had any opening for the next morning and wanted to know if I was willing to have him come out then (heck yes I was willing!!!!!!). They arrived on time and again was very polite and professional!!!! The price was reasonable and the service was good. I have already recommended them to someone and would do it again!!!

I called on Sunday and Mark was here on Monday to fix our AC which had stopped cooling. This was our first time to use Yates based on a recommendation from my brother. Mark got us back up and running and we couldn't be more pleased. Great job!

Dustin and Hunter, as usual, did a professional job at performing maintenance of the heating system. They were on time and when there was a power outage during their maintenance, they set up a timely appointment to complete the job. I would definitely recommend Yates Maintenance. We have used many HVAC repair places and this is by far the best. I called at 4:45 pm and our Ac was repaired and running by 6:00 pm. The Yates firm employs personable, professional people who explain HVAC details in terms a layman can understand. The contractual, retainer-type relationship we have brings them to my home twice yearly for maintenance and repair, ensuring that I will have a trouble-free, warm winter and cool summer. It's also great that I don't have to call THEM for this. They call ME!
Mark & Blaze did a great job! I needed some repair work done on my air conditioner;etc. after having a home inspection plus needed my air conditioner spring/summer checkup. I have 2 new Trane systems installed and I have had a few minor warranty issues with them. Yates has done everything in a timely manner to fix the issues I have had. The technicians have been super professional and I am thankful to have them service my heat pumps.
I called about getting a new outside unit installed. Had been several years without a functioning one. By the next morning the technician was there and had it installed. The price was great. The technician was very friendly and professional, plus he knew his craft which is vital obviously. This summer should be much more comfortable. I would recommend this company too anyone based on my experience. It also cost less too cool with a central unit and I dont have potential damage too my window sills from the inevitable leaks around the aforementioned window units which will save money on possible repairs. If i ever have an issue I will definitely call Yates again.

Matthew and Codie both worked on my unit. I couldn't be more impressed with their customer service. They were quick to respond to my appointment request and get my HVAC unit fixed. Yates maintenance blew me and my wife away with their customer services. The two things that stuck out to us were a call a day after they came out to check and see if there were any issues, and when one arose the next day, still came out and made sure it was fixed as soon as possible. Definitely recommending them to anyone who will listen! The above review was from 3 years ago. Today, Codie from Yates maintenance came out literally 28mins after I called their office when my AC went out. Codie not only did a fantastic job getting my unit fixed, he remember us form 3 years before, didn’t try and manipulate the situation to charge us more, and was done fixing our AC in a timely manner. Very grateful they could come and fix our AC today!
